Children's Ministry Lesson for November 8

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:

• Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
• Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old
• Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
• Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade

We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  

And now for this week's lesson... 

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: Jesus Walked on Water
Story Point from Matthew 14; Mark 6; John 6: Jesus miraculously fed thousands of people with five loaves and two fish.
Family Bible Reading: Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me, even if he dies, will live.” John 11:25
Big Picture Question: Why do we need to be born again?
Big Picture Answer: Because of sin we are spiritually dead, but Jesus came to give us new life.

Gospel Tots (ages 1 & 2 years old)

• Jesus loves us. When we trust Jesus, we do not have to be afraid.

Gospel Tykes (ages 3 - 5 years old) 

• Jesus showed He is God by walking on water. He loves us and is always with us. When we trust Jesus, we don’t have to be afraid. 

Gospel Kids (K - 2nd grade)

• Jesus showed He is God by walking on water. He has power over everything—wind, waves, and even fear. Jesus is the Son of God who cares for us and is always with us. When we trust Jesus, we don’t need to be afraid.

Gospel Students (3rd - 5th grade)

• Jesus showed He is God by walking on water. He has power over everything—wind, waves, and even fear. Jesus is the Son of God who cares for us and is always with us. When we trust Jesus, we don’t need to be afraid.
