Children's Ministry Lesson for August 24

Children's Ministry News

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
  • Gospel Tykes - ages 2 - 5 Years Old
  • Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
  • Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade
We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

Gospel Gems to Discuss at Home

Gospel Tots (ages 1 & 2 years old)
  • This world won’t last forever, but Jesus does. Trusting in Jesus is all that matters. Jesus came to save people from sin so we can be with God forever.
Gospel Tykes (ages 2 - 5 years old)
  • The things we get in this world don’t last forever. Only trusting in Jesus really matters. Jesus came to save people from sin so we can be with God forever.
Gospel Kids (K - 2nd grade)
  • People spend their lives trying to get riches, power, and fame, but none of it lasts. Only a life spent trusting in Jesus as Savior and following Him will matter in the end. Jesus lived, died, and rose again so we could find purpose in Him and be with God forever.
Gospel Students (3rd - 5th grade)
  • People spend their lives trying to get riches, power, and fame, but none of it lasts. Only a life spent trusting in Jesus as Savior and following Him will matter in the end. Jesus lived, died, and rose again so we could find purpose in Him and be with God forever.
