Children's Ministry News

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
  • Gospel Tykes - ages 2 - 5 Years Old
  • Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
  • Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade
We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

Family Bible Reading: May all the peoples of the earth know that the Lord is God. There is no other! 1 Kings 8:60
Big Picture Question: How many gods are there?
Big Picture Answer: There is one true God who alone deserves worship.

Gospel Gems to Discuss at Home

Gospel Tots (ages 1 & 2 years old)
  • Jesus died for our sins. When we trust in Jesus, God forgives us, and we will live with Him forever.
Gospel Tykes (ages 2 - 5 years old)
  • Jesus came to take the punishment we deserve for our sins. When we trust in Jesus, God forgives us, and we will live with Him forever.
Gospel Kids (K - 2nd grade)
  • Ahab was a disobedient, greedy, and stubborn king who refused to lead Israel in the ways of the Lord. Jesus, the Good Shepherd, always obeyed God and laid down His life for us. Anyone who follows Him will dwell with God forever.
