Children's Ministry News

  • Gospel Tykes - ages 2 - 5 Years Old
  • Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
  • Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade
We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

Gospel Gems to Discuss at Home

Gospel Tots (ages 1 & 2 years old)
  • King Solomon, David’s son, was wise, but Jesus, God’s Son, is wiser. Jesus is the King of everything who came to show us how to live and to save us by dying and coming back to life.
Gospel Tykes (ages 2 - 5 years old)
  • Like the queen was surprised by King Solomon’s wisdom, people were also surprised by Jesus’ teaching. Jesus is God’s Son. He taught with power because He is the King of everything. Jesus came to show us how to live and to save us by dying and coming back to life.
Gospel Kids (K - 2nd grade)
  • The queen of Sheba was amazed at the wisdom God had given King Solomon. The people who heard Jesus teach were amazed at His wisdom, authority, and power. Jesus has all wisdom, authority, and power because He is God's Son who came to live, die, and rise again.
Gospel Students (3rd - 5th grade)
