Children's Ministry Lesson for October 18

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:

• Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
• Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old
• Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
• Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade

We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  

And now for this week's lesson... 

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: Jesus Taught About the Kingdom
Story Point from Matthew 13; Mark 4: Jesus taught what God's kingdom is like using parables.
Family Bible Reading: The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the word of our God remains forever. Isaiah 40:8
Big Picture Question: Is the Bible true?
Big Picture Answer: Yes, the Bible is true and has no error.

Gospel Tots (ages 1 & 2 years old)

• When we trust in Jesus, we are part of His kingdom forever.

Gospel Tykes (ages 3 - 5 years old) 

• Jesus is the King. When we trust in Him, we can be part of His kingdom forever.

Gospel Kids (K - 2nd grade)

• Jesus is the King who came to bring God’s kingdom to earth. Through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, He made the way for people to be part of God’s kingdom. When we trust in Jesus, we are like the good seed in His field—we belong to Him, we grow in Him, and we will be with Him forever.

Gospel Students (3rd - 5th grade)

• Jesus is the King who came to bring God’s kingdom to earth. Through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, He made the way for people to be part of God’s kingdom. When we trust in Jesus, we are like the good seed in His field—we belong to Him, we grow in Him, and we will be with Him forever.
