Children's Ministry Lesson for July 12

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:

• Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
• Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old
• Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
• Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade

We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  

And now for this week's lesson... 

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: Jesus and the Samaritan Woman
Story Point from John 4: Jesus told the Samaritan woman that He is the Messiah.
Family Bible Reading: You know that he was revealed so that he might take away sins, and there is no sin in him. 1 John 3:5
Big Picture Question: Did Jesus ever sin?
Big Picture Answer: No, Jesus never sinned.

Gospel Tots (ages 1 & 2 years old)

• When people trust in Jesus, they have life with God forever.

Gospel Tykes (ages 3 - 5 years old) 

• Jesus offered the woman living water, which is the Holy Spirit. When we trust in Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit, we have life with God forever.

Gospel Kids (K - 2nd grade)

• Jesus pointed out the Samaritan woman’s sin so that she could believe He is the Messiah. The Holy Spirit shows us our sin so that we might turn away from it and turn to Jesus to be saved. Anyone who trusts in Jesus receives the Holy Spirit and eternal life.

Gospel Students (3rd - 5th grade)
