Children's Ministry Lesson for October 25

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:

• Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
• Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old
• Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
• Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade

We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  

And now for this week's lesson... 

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: Jesus Calmed the Storm
Story Point from Matthew 8; Mark 4; Luke 8: Jesus calmed a storm to show the disciples He is God.
Family Bible Reading: The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the word of our God remains forever. Isaiah 40:8
Big Picture Question: Is the Bible true?
Big Picture Answer: Yes, the Bible is true and has no error.

Gospel Tots (ages 1 & 2 years old)

• Jesus has power over everything. We can trust Him to save us from sin.

Gospel Tykes (ages 3 - 5 years old) 

• Jesus is God's Son! He has power over everything. We can trust in Him to save us from our sins.

Gospel Kids (K - 2nd grade)

• The disciples saw that Jesus has power over nature. He is the Son of God, the promised Savior. One day, Jesus would show His greatest power—not by calming a storm, but by dying on the cross and rising from the dead to save people from sin. Jesus saves everyone who trusts in Him.

Gospel Students (3rd - 5th grade)
