Children's Ministry Lesson for July 23

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:

• Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old 
• Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old 
• Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
• Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  

And now for this week's lesson... 

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about:  Jesus Taught about God's Love
Story Point:  Jesus told these parables to teach about God’s love. God sent Jesus so sinners can be forgiven. As Savior, Jesus loves and seeks sinners. He paid the ultimate price—His own life—to save people from sin.
Family Bible Reading:  Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and on earth, belongs to you. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom, and you are exalted as head over all. 1 Chronicles 29:11
Big Picture Question:  What did Jesus teach when He was on Earth?
Big Picture Answer:    Jesus taught about God and His kingdom. He taught that all Scripture is about Him.
