Children's Ministry Lesson for January 11

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:

• Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
• Gospel Tykes - ages 2 - 5 Years Old
• Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
• Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade

We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  

And now for this week's lesson... 

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego
Story Point from Daniel 3: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to worship the gold statue, and God rescued them.
Family Bible Reading: So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31
Big Picture Question: How can we glorify God?
Big Picture Answer: We can glorify God by loving Him and obeying Him.

Gospel Tots (ages 1 & 2 years old)

• When we trust in Jesus, we worship only Him. He is the one true God.

Gospel Tykes (ages 2 - 5 years old)  

• Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego only worshiped God. When we trust in Jesus, we worship only Him because He is the one true Savior.

Gospel Kids (K - 2nd grade)

• Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow down to anything but God. When we trust in Jesus and God brings us from death to life, we turn away from worshiping anything else. Jesus is Savior and Lord over our lives.

Gospel Students (3rd - 5th grade)

• Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow down to anything but God. When we trust in Jesus and God brings us from death to life, we turn away from worshiping anything else. Jesus is Savior and Lord over our lives.
