Children's Ministry News

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old 
  • Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old 
  • Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
  • Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade Will stay in the main sanctuary today!

We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  

And now for this week's lesson... 

 Paul Visited the Churches

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: Paul Visited the Churches
Story Point from Acts 18-21: As Paul traveled on his third missionary journey, he used every opportunity to tell people the good news about Jesus and to help the church. Paul was dedicated to Jesus, who called him to do the work of sharing the gospel.
Family Bible Reading: "Declare his glory among the nations, his wondrous works among all peoples." Psalm 96:3
Big Picture Question: What is our mission as Christians?
Big Picture Answer:   Our mission is to make disciples of all nations by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Gospel Gems to Discuss at Home

Gospel Tots (ages 1 & 2 years old)
  • The church grows when people believe the good news.
Gospel Tykes (ages 3 -5 years old)
  • As Paul traveled, he told as many people as he could about Jesus. The church grew. Paul wanted to follow God’s plan no matter what.
Gospel Kids (K - 2nd grade)
  • As Paul traveled, he told as many people as he could about Jesus. God changed people’s hearts, and the church grew. God had chosen Paul to tell people the good news about Jesus, and Paul wanted to follow God’s plan no matter what
Gospel Students (3rd - 5th grade)
  • As Paul traveled on his third missionary journey, he used every opportunity to tell people the good news about Jesus and to help the church. Paul was dedicated to Jesus, who called him to do the work of sharing the gospel.
