Children's Ministry Lesson for November 19

Children's Ministry News

The Gospel Kids class (K-2nd grade) can get a prize from the treasure box if they recite this month's Bible verse.  There is a song with hand motions to accompany the scripture to help make memorizing the scripture easier.
"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!"  Revelation 5:13
For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
  • Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old
  • Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
  • Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade
We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

Jesus Was Raised!

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about:  Jesus Was Raised!
Story Point: Jesus died on the cross for our sins, but He didn’t stay dead. God was pleased with Jesus’ sacrifice and raised Jesus from the dead on the third day to reign as King over all creation. Jesus provides salvation from sin and the promise of eternal life.
Family Bible Reading:  I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them say, Blessing and honor and glory and power be to the one seated on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever! Revelation 5:13
