Children's Ministry Lesson for June 18

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:

• Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old 
• Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old 
• Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
• Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  

And now for this week's lesson... 

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about:  Jesus Healed Sickness
Story Point:  By healing the woman and raising the little girl from the dead, Jesus showed His power as the Messiah. Jesus died on the cross and rose again to save people from sin and death. When we trust in Jesus, God forgives our sins and changes us to be more like His Son.
Family Bible Reading:  No one has ever seen God. The one and only Son, who is himself God and is at the Father’s side—he has revealed him. John 1:18
Big Picture Question:  Is Jesus God or a human?
Big Picture Answer:    As the Son of God, Jesus is both fully God and fully human.
