Children's Ministry Lesson for December 5

Children's Ministry News

Family Advent Guide from LifeWay Kids - we are offering an Advent Guide from Lifeway Kids this Christmas.  Each weekly devotion is designed to lead your family to open their Bibles, discuss the Bible passage, pray together, and create special memories that strengthen your hope, joy, love, and peace with God and with others.  Use these devotions, activities, and worship songs to help your family worship Jesus this Christmas.  We have copies of the Advent Guide on our Children's Ministry table located in the back of the sanctuary.

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1-3
  • Gospel Tykes/Kids - ages 4-8 Please bring water for your child labeled with their name.
  • Gospel Students - ages 9-11 or 3rd-5th grade

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this weeks lesson...

God Called Moses!

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: God Called Moses!
Story Point:  God saved Moses’ life and called him to rescue God’s people from slavery. The calling of Moses points to a greater calling and rescue—the call of Jesus to come to earth to save God’s people. Jesus gave up His life to save us from slavery to sin.
Family Bible Reading:  Numbers 23:19
Big Picture Question: Does God keep His promises?
Big Picture Answer:  Yes, God always keeps His promises because He is faithful.
