Children's Ministry Lesson for November 14

Children's Ministry News

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1-3
  • Gospel Tykes/Kids - ages 4-8 Please bring water for your child labeled with their name.
  • Gospel Students - ages 9-11 or 3rd-5th grade
THIS IS IMPORTANT:  Please don't forget to get your children from class once service is dismissed.

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

God Changed Jacob!

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: God Changed Jacob!
Story Point: God changed Jacob’s life and gave him a new name, Israel. Jesus came so that we might have a changed life, forgiven of sin. Jesus’ death and resurrection provided sinful people the way to be adopted into God’s family. When we trust in Jesus, we also receive a new name—children of God.
Family Bible Reading: Psalm 135:5
Big Picture Question: Who is in control of everything?
Big Picture Answer:  God is in control of everything in heaven and on earth. Nothing is outside of God’s good plan.
