Children's Ministry Lesson for November 12

Children's Ministry News

Today is the day!  Please return your filled Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes to GLC.  The drop-off location is next to the child check-in station in the main hallway.  Don't forget to put your QR code tag on the box.

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
  • Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old
  • Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
  • Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade
We use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story, the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

Jesus Was Crucified!

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about:  Jesus Was Crucified
Story Point:  We deserve to die because of our sin, but God loves us and kept His promise to send a Savior. Jesus never sinned, but He died in our place. Now those who trust in Him have forgiveness through his blood and are no longer separated from God.
Family Bible Reading:  I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them say, Blessing and honor and glory and power be to the one seated on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever! Revelation 5:13
Big Picture Question:  How is Jesus the perfect King?
Big Picture Answer:  Jesus perfectly rules over the universe as the King of kings.
