  • Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old
  • Gospel Kids - K - 2nd Grade
  • Gospel Students - 3rd - 5th Grade
We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this weeks lesson...

Joash Wanted to Obey God

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: Joash Wanted to Obey God
Story Point: Joash wanted to obey God. He honored God at first, but in time, his actions showed that there was still sin in his heart. Jesus wants to change our hearts. When we trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, He gives us new hearts that want to live for His glory.
Family Bible Reading:  “Therefore repent and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out.” Acts 3:19
Big Picture Question: What is repentance?
Big Picture Answer:  Repentance is turning away from sin and turning to Jesus.
