Children's Ministry Lesson for June 26

Children's Ministry News

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old
  • Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old
  • Gospel Kids - grades K - 2nd
  • Gospel Students - grades 3rd - 5th

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this weeks lesson...

God is Good to Judge Sin!

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: God is good to judge sin!
Story Point:  God is good to judge sin. He is the Judge of all the earth, and He always does what is right. God will punish the guilty. The good news of the gospel is that Jesus took the punishment our sin deserves, and everyone who trusts in Him is declared righteous before God.
Family Bible Reading: Isaiah 6:5
Big Picture Question: Why does sin separate us from God?
Big Picture Answer:  Because God is holy, sin has broken our relationship with God.
