Children's Ministry Lesson for June 19

Children's Ministry News

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1 - 2 Years Old (downstairs)
  • Gospel Tykes - ages 3 - 5 Years Old (upstairs)
  • Gospel Kids - grades K - 2nd
  • Gospel Students - grades 3rd - 5th
We are asking our parents, before dropping your child off in class, please wash your little ones hands.  Thank you!

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this weeks lesson...

Saul Sinned and Was Rejected!

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: Saul Sinned and Was Rejected!
Story Point:  God gave the Israelites a king, but Saul did not obey God. God had a plan to send His Son, Jesus. King Jesus trusted and obeyed God perfectly and died so sinners could be forgiven and accepted.
Family Bible Reading: Isaiah 6:5
Big Picture Question: Why does sin separate us from God?
Big Picture Answer:  Because God is holy, sin has broken our relationship with God.
