Children's Ministry News

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes are due this Sunday, November21!  Drop them off when you come to church and don't forget the $9 donation per box.

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1-3
  • Gospel Tykes/Kids - ages 4-8 Please bring water for your child labeled with their name.
  • Gospel Students - ages 9-11 or 3rd-5th grade
THIS IS IMPORTANT:  Please don't forget to get your children from class once service is dismissed.

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

God Had a Plan for Joseph

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: God Had a Plan for Joseph!
Story Point: God had a plan for Joseph’s life. He allowed Joseph to suffer in order to rescue a whole nation. God planned for Jesus to suffer so that many—people from all nations—would be saved.
Family Bible Reading: Psalm 135:5
Big Picture Question: Who is in control of everything?
Big Picture Answer:  God is in control of everything in heaven and on earth. Nothing is outside of God’s good plan.
