Children's Ministry Lesson for June 27

This Sunday is FAMILY SUNDAY!  There are no classes  today instead we will all be in the sanctuary together and worship as a family!  There will be activity sheets in the back for the kids to follow along with this weeks lesson.  

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. And now for this week's lesson... 

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about:  Running the Race!
Story Point:  Following Jesus is like running a race for a wonderful prize. We remember that Jesus never sinned but He endured the cross so we can have forgiveness of our sins. We press on to fully know Jesus and share in His victory for eternity.

Big Picture Question:  What is Sanctification?
Big Picture Answer:  Sanctification is the process of becoming more like Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.
