Children's Ministry News

You are invited to our Breaker Rock Beach 1-Day Vacation Bible School – God’s rock-solid truth in a world of shifting sand!

Who:  Ages 3–5-year-old to 5th grade (23-24 school year)
When:  Saturday, June 8, 2024
Time: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Where:  Gospel Life Church
VBS Scripture – Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.”
VBS Motto – God’s truth never changes!
Christ Connection – Jesus is the only way to receive salvation.  When we trust Christ as our Savior, He gives us the desire to love God’s Word, obey God, and lovingly tell others about Jesus.  

The day's activities will include a Bible lesson, crafts, music, snacks, and recreation time. Please pack a lunch for your child. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, June 2.

We hope each child brings a friend so that no one comes alone, and everyone gets the opportunity to hear about God’s rock-solid truth in a world of shifting sands.

Big Picture Answer:  Anyone who trusts in Jesus can be forgiven of their sins and be right with God.

Gospel Gems to Discuss at Home

Gospel Tots (ages 1 & 2 years old)
  • God changes us to be like Jesus.
Gospel Tykes (ages 3 -5 years old)
  • Paul was an enemy of Jesus, but then God changed him. When we trust in Jesus, He changes us from the inside out.
Gospel Kids (K - 2nd grade)
  • Paul was an enemy of Jesus and His followers, but then God changed him. Jesus came to earth to save sinners like Paul. (1 Timothy 1:15). When we trust in Jesus, He changes us from the inside out.
Gospel Students (3rd - 5th grade)
  • Jesus appeared to Saul and changed him inside and out. Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners. (1 Timothy 1:15) Jesus called Saul, who was once an enemy to Christians, to spend the rest of his life telling people the gospel and leading them to trust in Jesus.
