Children's Ministry News

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1 & 2 Years Old (downstairs)
  • Gospel Tykes - ages 3 & 4 Years Old (upstairs)
  • Gospel Kids - ages 5 - 8 Years Old
  • Gospel Students - ages 9 - 11 Years Old
We are asking our parents, before dropping your child off in class, please wash your little ones hands.  Thank you!

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this weeks lesson...

God Gave the People the Land

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: God Gave the People the Land
Story Point:  Joshua’s name means “The LORD is salvation.” God fought for Joshua and the Israelites, saving them and giving them victory over their enemies. Sinners can look to God for victory over sin and death. God brought us salvation by sending His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross and rise again.
Family Bible Reading:  Psalm77:14
Big Picture Question: What is a miracle?
Big Picture Answer:  A miracle is something God does that usually cannot be done so that we can know He is all-powerful.
