Children's Ministry Lesson for February 6

Children's Ministry News

For this Sunday, we will have classes for:
  • Gospel Tots - ages 1 & 2 Years Old (in their new and improved room downstairs!)
  • Gospel Tykes - ages 3 & 4 Years Old (upstairs)
  • Gospel Kids - ages 5 - 8 Years Old
  • Gospel Students - ages 9 - 11 Years Old
We are asking our parents, before dropping your child off in class, please wash your little ones hands.  Thank you!

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this weeks lesson...

The People Didn't Go Into The Land

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: The people didn't go into the land!
Story Point: The Israelites did not obey God because they did not trust Him.  Jesus always trusted God.  When we trust in Jesus, God forgives our sin.
Family Bible Reading:  Exodus 15:11
Big Picture Question:  What is God like?
Big Picture Answer:  There is no one like God.  He is perfect, good, and loving.

Gospel Students (ages 9 - 11 years old)
  • The Israelites did not trust God. They rebelled against Him. Jesus trusted God perfectly. He came into the world to take the punishment we deserve for our own rebellion against God. When we trust in Jesus, God forgives our sin and invites us into His kingdom forever.
