Children's Ministry Lesson for October 10

Children's Ministry News

This Sunday is Family Sunday!  All children will remain in service with their parents.  There will be activity sheets available in the back of the sanctuary that follow along with the children's lesson for this week.

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

God Spared Noah

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about:  God Spared Noah
Story Point: God rescued Noah and his family from the flood. The story of Noah points ahead to a greater rescue. God’s Son, Jesus—the only perfectly righteous One—came to take the punishment for our sin. By trusting in Him, we are saved from the punishment our sin deserves.
Family Bible Reading: Romans 3:23

Big Picture Answer:  To sin is to think, speak or behave in any way that goes against God and His commands.
