Partnering with Parents and Children's Ministry News for September 26

Children's Ministry News

This Sunday is Family Sunday!  All children will remain in service with their parents.  There will be activity sheets available in the back of the sanctuary that follow along with the children's lesson for this week.

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

Sin Entered the World

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: Sin Entered the World!
Story Point: Ever since Adam and Eve sinned, all people have been born as sinners. Sin separates us from God, but God still loves us. God promised a Rescuer would come from Eve’s family. God sent His Son, Jesus, to rescue people from sin and bring them back to God.
Family Bible Reading: Romans 3:23

Big Picture Answer:  To sin is to think, speak or behave in any way that goes against God and His commands.
