Children's Ministry Lesson for August 1

Children's Ministry News

This Sunday is FAMILY SUNDAY!  There are no classes today, instead we will all be in the sanctuary together worshipping as a family!  There will be activity sheets in the back for the kids to follow along with this weeks lesson.

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

Defending the Faith!

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: Defending the Faith!
Story Point:  Jude warned the early Christians that some people would try to divide them by sinning and by teaching things that weren’t true. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life—the One who protects His people from sin. Because of Jesus, we will be able to stand before God with joy.
Family Bible Reading:  Philippians 1:6
Big Picture Question:  What will happen for all Christians in the future?
Big Picture Answer:  One day, all Christians will see Jesus in His glory and live with Him forever!
