Children's Ministry Lesson for July 25

Children's Ministry News

This Sunday is FAMILY SUNDAY!  There are no classes today, instead we will all be in the sanctuary together and worship as a family!  There will be activity sheets in the back for the kids to follow along with this weeks lesson.

We use Gospel Project for Kids curriculum for the Children's Ministry at GLC.  The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And now for this week's lesson...

Children of God!

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: Children of God!
Story Point:  John wrote a letter to teach believers in the church—the children of God—about the importance of showing love. Love is more than feelings or words; it is an action. Jesus showed God’s love for us when He died on the cross to rescue people from sin.
Family Bible Reading:  Philippians 1:6
Big Picture Question:  What will happen for all Christians in the future?
Big Picture Answer:  One day, all Christians will see Jesus in His glory and live with Him forever!
