Children's Ministry News: January 10, 2021

Happy New Year!

By God's grace we made it through 2020! While the challenges of this past year seemed to be significant; I pray you are able to look back and reflect on the faithfulness of God. God is faithful to sanctify His people. He is faithful to keep every promise and grow our trust and dependence on Him. Reflect on 2020. How have you seen the Lord grow and sanctify you? Your relationships? Your family? Take some time to share this with your children and pray together. You may be surprised to hear how the Lord is growing your child too!

As we approach the beginning of 2021, we are also  starting a new unit in the Gospel Project Curriculum: The Early Church. The Church is God's plan to bring praise and glory to Jesus. Through the church, the gospel goes beyond Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria to the end of the earth.

This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: Ananias & Sapphira
Story Point: Ananias & Sapphira lied about their gift to the church.
Family Bible Reading: Acts 4-5, Romans 12:5
Big Picture Question: What is the Church? The church is all Christians everywhere, who gather together in their communities to worship and serve God.
