Children's Ministry Lesson for August 27
Children's Ministry News

Grade Promotion Sunday is this Sunday during the main service followed by a "Goodbye Summer Snow Cone Party" for all the kiddos! If you have a child going into the 3rd or 6th grade for the 2023-2024 school year, we want to recognize those kiddos and emphasize that as kids grow, their understanding of foundational truths grows with them.
Join us after service for our Snow Cone Party outside. Snow cones will be provided for all kiddos and children's ministry volunteers at no cost. Each child will need to be accompanied by their parent and have a ticket to receive a snow cone. The sugar-free syrup is available upon request.

The World Is Against God!
This upcoming Sunday your child will learn about: The World Is Against God!
Story Point: Paul told believers to be ready to fight a spiritual battle every day. People and powers who are against God will be against us too. But Jesus died and rose from the dead. He had victory over evil. We can fight the battle against evil, knowing Jesus already won the war.
Family Bible Reading: He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering who knew what sickness was. He was like someone people turned away from; he was despised, and we didn’t value him. Isaiah 53:3
Big Picture Question: Why do people reject Jesus?
Big Picture Answer: People reject Jesus because all people are born with a sin nature and want to please themselves rather than obey God.
