About

At Gospel Life Church, the spiritual well-being of your children is a responsibility we take seriously. It is a responsibility that not only affects their well-being, but bears the fruit of glorifying God through the raising up of future disciples. As such, the volunteers for our children’s ministry are intentional, passionate, and resolute about building a majestic view of God in every child’s life – one that we hope will last a lifetime.

The role of our church is not to supplant the parents, but to work alongside them in nurturing the children. We accomplish this by providing parent resources with questions and interactions for you and your child that coincide with the Sunday lesson, in addition to memory verses for your child(ren) to practice at home.

Gospel Tots

Gospel Tots (1-2 yrs.) exists to provide safe, nurturing, clean, and efficient care for your child while communicating gospel truths at an age-appropriate level.

We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes before the start of our service to drop off your Tot. This will allow time for you to check in and easily transition your child to the care of our Gospel Tots volunteers.

Gospel Tykes

Gospel Tykes (3-4 yrs.) exists to continue to build upon the basic truths of the gospel in greater depth. At this level, children are introduced to worship songs and activities that complement the weekly teaching.

We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes before the start of our service to drop off your Tyke. This will allow time for you to check in and easily transition your child to the care of our Gospel Tykes volunteers.

Gospel Kids

Gospel Kids (5 yrs.-2nd grade.) exists to provide your children with a deeply-rooted confidence in the character of God so they may passionately follow Him through all life’s circumstances. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by providing curriculum, resources, and an environment that centers on the gospel. Children in this class are engaged with weekly teaching, worship, and activities.

Children in Gospel Kids will stay with their parents during worship and be released from our Sunday Gathering prior to the sermon.

Gospel Students

Gospel Students (3rd-5th grade) exists to engage your children on a deeper level, helping them grow in their knowledge of the Bible and understand how God’s story of redemption relates to them. Rather than simply focusing on memorization, the intent is to engage in discussion that helps your children understand practical application of gospel truths.

Children in Gospel Students will stay with their parents during worship and be released from our Sunday Gathering prior to the sermon.

Gospel Youth

Gospel Youth (6th-8th grade) exists to continue to build upon the foundation of gospel truths and the application of these truths to the lives of your child. The aim is to help your child see the overarching story of redemption and to understand how the gospel applies to not only to salvation, but to the everyday circumstances of adolescence and the changing world around them.

Children in Gospel Youth will stay with their parents during worship and be released from our Sunday Gathering prior to the sermon.

Curriculum

Gospel Life Church utilizes “The Gospel Project For Kids” curriculum in all of our children’s ministry classes. “The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events—presenting the story of redemption through Jesus like kids have never seen it before! Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more.” For more information, visit: http://www.gospelproject.com/kids/.

More Information

If you’re visiting for the first time, you will find our child check-in team ready to help register your child on The City. Both children and parents receive security stickers, which serve two purposes:

  • Parent Paging – If your child needs your attention during service, the number on your sticker will be displayed on the top right corner of the projection screen.
  • Child Pick-up – You must present your sticker to the volunteer in your child’s classroom upon pick-up.

If you have any questions please Contact Us.

*All children are welcome to stay with you in the main service. As a consideration to parents caring for little ones, and to keep distractions during the teaching of God’s Word to a minimum, we have a comfortable mothers’ area available where the service can be heard.
